Double Check
Double Check
Don't forget to check the weather!
1. Double check your bookings
Ensure that your travel (train, plane, bus, rental car, etc.) has been booked for the correct dates.
Check the status of any flights or trains.
Check the weather at your destination.
Check that your passport is valid for the duration of your travel.
2. Packing list
By train
When travelling with VIA Rail, they will not accept your government ID badge. You must bring a valid piece of government-issued identification such as a passport or driver's license.
Hotels
When checking in, the hotel will require you to show your government ID badge.
3. Plan routes
Check the routes to and from the airport. Will you take a taxi, ride-sharing service, shuttle, or local public transportation?
4. Plan how you're going to pay
Make sure you know what is covered by various payment methods. When can you use your personal credit card, and when should you use cash or a corporate card instead?
